Fiona has long been dedicated to veterinary scientific research in the field of wildlife domestication and breeding, with a core research focus on the captive breeding of Asiatic black bears. She possesses profound academic expertise in the reproductive ecology, artificial breeding techniques, and health interventions of captive black bears. Her key research areas include the synchronization of estrus between male and female black bears and scientific mating management, the optimization of artificial bile extraction techniques (such as tubeless drainage technology), the analysis and prevention of postpartum infanticide and cub abandonment behaviors, the diagnosis and treatment of common diseases like gallstones and gallbladder polyps, and key technical measures to improve the reproductive rate of black bears.
